Education

2009-2011 :Master 2LCE Langues et Commerce Electronique (equivalent to Master’s degree specialized in English and E-commerce).
University of Franche-Comté, Montbéliard, France.

This degree is ideal to find out more about what I learnt during the previous year. Thus, in the first year, I learnt more about e-marketing, web design, search engine optimization and I improved my english skills. Next year will allow me to go on this way while getting to know new domains such as benchmarking or project management.
2008-2009 :Licence Professionnelle Commerce Electronique (equivalent to Bachelor’s degree in E-commerce).
University of Bourgogne, Dijon, France.

This year went by really fast. As I wished, I was able to learn new things and to get away from topics that are too scientific. Among these new things there is : e-marketing, communication, management, negociation or intellectual property. I could not wait to use this knowledge in a practical manner and the internship at a Chamber of Commerce was the perfect occasion.
2007-2008 :Première année d’école d’ingénieur informatique (equivalent to first year of Engineering School specialized in Computer Sciences).
University of Technology of Belfort - Montbéliard, Belfort, France.

In Belfort, I had the opportunity to work even more on my technical skills. Moreover, thanks to some special subjects that I chose I found about patents for inventions, sociology and project management.
While I was in this engineering school, I realized that such a scientific environment was not what I wished for my future career. That's why I decided to go on a different path by choosing to pursue my studies in a Bachelor's degree specialized in e-marketing, communication, website development and the web in general.
2005-2007 :DUT Informatique (equivalent to a two year technical degree in Computer Sciences).
University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne, Reims, France.

Being passionate about information technologies for years, I decided to study computing sciences after the A-level. The valuable skills I learn during these two years are still something that I use daily. Besides, this course was an excellent springboard : I was able to go to England for an internship (which was something I wanted to do for a long time), and then I could get into an engineering school.

Work experience

May-July 2011 : Numerik Art - Adthink Media Group (Lyon - France)
Internship, e-mailing department : planning / monitoring e-mails dedicated to dating websites, created new e-mails (designing with Photoshop, and integrating with HTML), wrote content for e-mails / websites, optimized deliverability, defined a new e-mailing strategy.

This internship was ideal because it allowed me to use my various marketing and technical skills. Indeed, writing and defining the offer for e-mails require marketing skills. On the other hand, thanks to my technical background, I was able to make many suggestions and create new e-mails with Photoshop and integrate them in HTML. Then, I could send it myself and optimize deliverability.
In conclusion, this was a very enriching experience in a field which is constantly evolving, and still really important for direct marketing : the e-mailing.
Feb.-May 2011 : BNM (Bureau des Nouveaux Médias) E-Business agency (Lyon - France)
Internship, internet marketing assistant : creating and managing adwords / affiliation campaigns, booking space for web adverts with media houses, benchmarking, search engine optimization, competitive intelligence, creating / editing Photoshop web templates.

This internship allowed me to enter the world of web agencies with a lot of different tasks, all related to webmarketing.
Thanks to this experience, I now have deep knowledge of the different fields of webmarketing : search, display and affiliation. Also, the work rythym in a web agency is very formative : you have to deal with several accounts at the same time. Finally, being in contact with the clients was very fulfilling.
February-June 2010: Microsoft Ciao! Price comparison (Munich - Germany)
Internship: Project management, improving products, categories and navigation, creating or restructuring categories, new merchants integration.
View the letter of recommendation from Microsoft.

During this internship I was part of the Content Development Team which carries out a large number of tasks whose purpose is always to insure the quality and the number of products and offers online. In Munich, I was in touch with new cultures in this company where seven countries are represented. The way the firm works was very inspiring, especially the collaboration between departments (for instance, my projects had to be also approved by SEO, community and sales departments).
March-July 2009: Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Reims and Epernay (Reims - France)
Internship: Search Engine Optimization, launched a web trophy for companies, developed plugins for SPIP, created banner ads. Three months placement extended by one month.

A very good (and first) professional experience in France. This internship was an excellent way to put my knowledge to use. Therefore, I was able to help in various ways : by launching a web trophy, by improving SEO, by developping new features for the websites of the Chamber of Commerce. I used of large range of skills in different missions.
July 2008: Michel JOLYOT’s photo workshop (Reims - France)
Web site administration, deliveries, sorting and selling post cards as well as books.

April-June 2007 : Coventry University (Coventry - England)
Ten week placement in Coventry: designing and coding a website.

The placement in England taught me how to adapt to a new environment. Also, it helped me improve my knowledge of the English language, which is nowadays really useful. Finally, it developed my interpersonal skills because I had to communicate with a lot of people despite the obstacle of another language.
Summer jobs : trellising grape vines, computing lessons, computer emergencies.
